“Bullpen” – Meet
management has segregated a covered area of the competition pool
deck for swimmers 10 & Under to queue in advance of their
events (regardless of distance). Teams wishing to have their
10 & Under swimmers use this queuing area must provide a single
team volunteer and such volunteer must display the pass which will
be provided to the team representative who picks up the
team’s materials on Friday.
Given that
fly-over starts will be employed at this meet, that swimmers
entered in 50M events will be using the bulkhead, and that the
configuration of the pool will not permit parents/guardians to be
on the competition pool deck to assist swimmers, we are strongly
encouraging teams to use the bullpen.
We have
designated areas around the outside of the pool area fence for
tents. These areas are away from the YMCA’s
entrance. We are not permitted to open up the fencing
surrounding the pool deck to permit direct ingress and egress from
the tent areas because of YMCA security rules. Please also
note that the YMCA mandates that no spectator (18 & over) will
be admitted into the Selby Aquatic Facility without showing a photo
ID (i.e., driver’s license).
There will be a
Stroke & Turn official’s clinic on Saturday
morning at 11:30 AM in the skybox.
